Ben Gurion's House in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv
The home of Ben Gurion Tel Aviv reflects a piece of history, it is well worth the visit and we enjoyed the free admission.
Not only for its historical value, but also the old and modest appearing interior the house was interesting. The photos on the lower floor are captivating, the longer you look at them, the more famous and influential people you discover on them. Behind a thick glass on the second floor you find the "Red Phone" that had a direct line to the Defence Ministry’s Office. We were most stunned by seemingly endless books - 20,000 to be exact. Of course, we had to ask each other if Ben Gurion had really read them all.
