The Church seen today is from 1924 but it was build on two current churches and remains where found of them. The Garden Gethsemane is said to be the place where Jesus and his disciples have prayed the night before Jesus crucifixion. Some of the olive trees are the oldest owns know today and are dating back to the 11th century.
